It is pleasure to introduce myself.

I am Dr. Gail Wint, Licensed Psychologist.

Dr. Wint believes in your personal transformation.  She is adept at increasing awareness to items buried deep within the subconscious, negatively impacting psychological and physical health.

Dr. Wint earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology, with a heavy concentration in neuropsychology.  She maintains a private practice in Miami Beach, Florida and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Dr. Wint specializes in individual, couples, family, and group therapy as well as personal life coaching, spiritual guide, mindology, pre-marital counseling, health psychology,  and professional workshops, consultation, and training.   

Dr. Wint has gained tremendous traction in collectively reconditioning the mind, helping one to reconnect to self and values. Years of experience and observation have shown this to be a process necessary to facilitate true transformation, restoring balance between mind, body, and soul. 

Dr. Wint continues to be successful in assisting individuals with personal transformation by competently applying evidence-based methodologies and life coaching strategies. She largely utilizes recovery and psychodynamic principles. 

Dr. Wint is also well-versed in: acceptance and commitment therapy, positive psychology, cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, and family systems therapy.

Dr. Wint is skilled in helping to transform the lives of people of culturally diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.  She treats the full gamut and gravity of mental disorders including: autism spectrum, attention-deficit/hyperactivity, obsessive-compulsive, posttraumatic stress, personality, substance-related, psychotic, mood, anxiety, eating, and conduct disorders.

   

Moreover, Dr. Wint skillfully administers assessment inventories including but not limited to: intellectual disabilities, communication disorders, autism spectrum disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders, Specific Learning Disorders, Motor Disorders, Neuropsychological Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. She has gained significant experience and expertise in these areas working with children, adolescents, and adults.

The enormous compassion and attentiveness that Dr. Wint invests in each person speaks volume to her commitment in personally facilitating the transformational process.  Her personalized approach functions to meet the precise needs of every individual.
